Thalapathy Vijay has proved majority in the House. On Wednesday, Vijay proved his majority in the House and that too with the votes of 144 MLAs. Earlier on Sunday, May 10, he had taken oath as the Chief Minister. It has been only 2 days since Vijay became the Chief Minister and he has already started working at a fast pace. First, Vijay ordered the closure of 717 liquor shops in the state, which was praised everywhere, but now he has given another decision, which is being discussed everywhere. Vijay has given permission for special screening of Trisha Krishnan’s film ‘Karappu’. Vijay has taken this decision in favor of Tamil film industry, which is also benefiting Trisha Krishnan’s film.
Permission for special screening of Karpu
The makers of Trisha Krishnan’s upcoming film ‘Karappu’ have also shared a post regarding Vijay’s decision. The film will be released in theaters on May 14, but before that the makers have got permission for a special screening of the 9 am show of ‘Karappu’. Trisha Krishnan and Surya are in lead roles in the film. After this decision of Vijay, the makers have thanked Chief Minister Vijay.
Makers of Karpu thanked CM Vijay
The production house of ‘Karappu’ shared a note on X (formerly Twitter) expressing gratitude to Vijay for his decision. The production house also posted a picture of the Chief Minister along with a message from Karpu’s team. Which read, “Special thanks to Honorable Chief Minister Shri Joseph Vijay for giving special permission for 9 am show of Karappu. Karappu – FDFS starting from 14th May at 9 am. Music by Sai Abhayankar.”
Surya had congratulated
Earlier, Surya had also congratulated Vijay through a social media post. He wrote, “It is a blessing to receive the love and support of the public. Tamil Nadu has full faith in my friend Vijay. My heartiest congratulations to Vijay who is going to start a new chapter in Tamil Nadu politics.”
Trisha became emotional at Vijay’s swearing-in ceremony.
On May 10, Vijay took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, after which he has been receiving many good wishes from the film industry. Trisha Krishnan, who attended the swearing-in ceremony, was also one of the celebrities present at the event. Several videos from the ceremony quickly went viral on social media, especially the moments in which Trisha was seen interacting warmly with Vijay’s family. In a viral video, Trisha was seen emotional during Vijay’s speech after taking oath.
