Varun Dhawan’s film opened at Rs 11 crore on the first day

The month of June is bringing a plethora of films to the theatres. These days, many big films are running simultaneously in theatres. Varun Dhawan starrer film ‘Hai Jawaani To Ishq Hona Hai’, released yesterday, has made an opening of Rs 11 crore on the first day. Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer film Peddi has surprised everyone by earning Rs 150 crore in just 2 days.

This film of director David Dhawan has come with his son Varun Dhawan. Along with Varun, the film also stars Mrinal Thakur and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. People have not liked this film that much and it has also received mixed reviews. Varun is certainly garnering praise for his acting but the film has also come under criticism for its light story. The film has made a net collection of Rs 7.50 crore in India on the first day. Outside India, the film has collected more than Rs 2 crore. Accordingly, the total earning of the film on the first day has been Rs 11 crore.

Ram Charan’s film Peddi earned Rs 150 crore

According to Sacnilk data, ‘Peddi’ collected Rs 26.90 crore on the second day. This figure marks a decline of 47.3 percent compared to its first day’s net collection of Rs 51.00 crore. The film recorded these figures in 10,113 shows. Despite the second day’s decline, ‘Peddi’ maintained good collections at the domestic box office. The total Indian collection of the film currently stands at Rs 96.40 crore. Its Indian gross collection so far has reached Rs 114.49 crore. Overseas collections have also contributed to the overall growth of the film. ‘Peddi’ collected Rs 8.00 crore overseas on the second day. The overseas gross collection of the film has now reached Rs 36.00 crore. Worldwide collection of Peddi film has reached Rs 150.49 crore. Now it remains to be seen how much more amazing this film can show. Jhanvi Kapoor has also played a strong role in the film.
