Worked as a gym trainer
Mustafa Ahmed has received a lot of appreciation for his role of Hamza Ali Mazari’s special man ‘Rizwan’ in Dhurandhar: The Revenge. However, long before gaining fame, Mustafa used to earn only Rs 10,000 a month as a gym trainer in Janakpuri, Delhi. Yes! Mustafa’s journey was not ordinary, he was not a child prodigy from whom people expected success, rather he was like the ‘Ishaan’ of the stars, who struggled with dyslexia and ultimately left formal education midway. Mustafa Ahmed’s life may not have been full of happiness in the beginning, but an incident that happened at the age of 21 changed the direction of his life. In 2001, Mustafa was earning Rs 1 lakh a month as the youngest team leader in a call centre. However, while training in the gym, he noticed that a 40-year-old woman was being ignored by the trainer. They decided to help him, little did they know that this event would change the course of their lives.
Have given training to Hrithik Roshan also
Another big opportunity came when Mustafa’s wife Radhika started a healthy baking business, which led him to meet a famous trainer who was associated with Hrithik Roshan. One message later and weeks of uncertainty, Mustafa finally got the call that started the next chapter of his life. He recalled, ‘Hrithik sent a message saying that he was looking for someone. We met, talked about his injuries and training, and two days later he asked me if I could train him. Just like that, he became my first client in 2015.
Did wonders in acting too
When Dhurandhar released on 5 December 2025, Mustafa Ahmed wrote about his journey on social media. He explained that he was not a trained actor, but eventually he got to where he needed to be. He further said, ‘The love I have received further strengthens my belief that if you remain honest towards your work and keep learning, you can achieve anything.’ In this film, his character is ‘Rizwan’, who is a RAW agent and infiltrates the gang of ‘Arshad Pappu’. ‘Rizwan’, who was introduced to ‘Hamza’ by ‘Mohammad Alam’ in the first film, becomes ‘Hamza’s’ trusted companion in the next film and becomes the audience’s favorite with his brilliant acting.
