Nilesh Bhatt’s journey in ‘Taarak Mehta…’ has been quite an interesting one. He has played more than 20 different characters in this show so far. Before entering the world of acting, Nilesh Bhatt’s life was quite different. He initially opened a clothing shop to earn his livelihood. But his passion for acting drew him towards Gujarati theatre. He not only acted in theater but also worked hard as a backstage worker. His luck changed when ‘Taarak Mehta…’ writer Jitendra Parmar gave him the role of a goon in a play. Interestingly, the show’s lead actor Dilip Joshi was in the lead role in that drama. From there his talent was recognized and the doors of television opened for him.
