Fresh and fragrant rose petals (desi roses are better), 2 to 3 cups of clean water, vessel with lid, strainer or cloth, glass bottle.
Step by step process to make rose water at home
First step: First of all, separate the fresh rose petals and wash them gently with clean water, so that the dust and dirt on it is removed.
Second step: Now, place the petals in a pan or vessel and add enough water that they are just submerged. Take care not to add too much water.
Third step: Now, turn on the gas and place the vessel with rose water on it. Now cover it and heat it on low flame for 10 to 15 minutes. When the color of the petals fades, turn off the gas.
Fourth step: Your organic rose water is ready. Now let the mixture cool, then filter it through a strainer or cotton cloth. Fill the prepared rose water in a clean glass bottle and keep it in the refrigerator.
How to use rose water?
Use of rose water is excellent for toning the face, bringing freshness and keeping it hydrated. You can apply it directly on the face with the help of cotton, from a spray bottle, by mixing it in a face pack or as a toner at night.
