According to the latest update from Sacnilk, ‘Karuppu’ collected Rs 23.35 crore on the second day of its release. The film earned Rs 15.50 crore on its opening day. With this, the total India gross collection of the film till now has become 44.98 crores and the total India net collection has become 38.85 crores. There has been a tremendous jump in the collection figures of the second day. The reason for this is that there is a huge buzz about the film on social media. Surya’s return to a mass action film after a long time and the excellent reviews he received after its release has made him happy. It will be interesting to see the opening weekend collection of the film after Sunday. It seems that by Sunday the film will cross the Rs 50 crore mark.
