Stand-up comedian Pranit More is continuously facing trolling on social media regarding the ‘Rs 370 biryani’ controversy related to his stand-up show in Gurugram. The National Commission for Women (NCW) has also expressed concern over this matter and directed the Haryana DGP to take action. NCW has directed Pranit More and Himanshu Jangra, who gave the controversial statement of ‘370 rupees biryani’, to appear before the Commission on June 22. Meanwhile, Pranit More has also publicly apologized by sharing the video on social media. Praneet has shared a video post on his Instagram, in which he said that he ‘deserved this hatred’.

On Saturday, Praneet shared a video on his Instagram handle and informed that his account had been suspended. In his video, Praneet said that he deserved this hatred because he did not stop the person from saying such things. He appealed to his audience to give him a chance and also assured that he will become a better person.

Pranit More has released a video and apologized for this entire controversy. Praneet says- ‘Hello, the thing is that I was wanting to do this for a long time, but my Instagram account was suspended. You all must have seen my crowdwork, due to which I am getting so much hatred. I thought maybe I deserve this hatred. Because, when I was doing crowd work with that boy, he said very objectionable things and everyone was laughing at him, so I also got carried away with him. There was an error in judgment.

Pranit More further said- ‘I think this was my biggest mistake. If I wanted, I could have stopped him there, taken a stand, which I could not do. I gave him a platform which made things spread so much. I want to apologize to all those who have been hurt by this. I am also co-operating with the authorities in whatever legal proceedings are going on against me. All I request you is to give me another chance. I will prove to be a better person.

He then said that because he had spent Rs 370 on food, he expected “physical intimacy” in return. Referring to this incident, he said, “I said that if Rs 370 has been charged, I will definitely recover it.” And this entire video went viral on social media, due to which controversy arose.
