Bollywood’s ‘Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar’s much awaited multi-starrer film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ has finally been released in theatres. As soon as it is released, this film is getting a lot of love and great response from the audience. There are continuous positive reactions about the film on social media, where fans are praising Akshay Kumar’s unmatched comic timing and comedy. Paid previews were held for the film just a day before the official release, i.e. on 25 June 2026, in which the film performed well and created a new record at the box office.

There was tremendous craze among the audience for this third installment of the ‘Welcome’ franchise, which was clearly visible in the results of paid previews. Despite getting very limited screens and less shows, ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ made huge money at the box office. According to data from box office tracker website Sacknilk, the film has registered an impressive net collection of ₹3.75 crore through its paid previews in India.

By registering excellent figures in terms of paid previews, ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ has now become the sixth highest grossing film in the history of Indian cinema. However, the film narrowly missed breaking the record of Akshay Kumar’s other film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ which was at number five, which had earned ₹4 crore. The list of top highest grossing films in paid previews is as follows:
Dhurandhar 2: ₹43 crore
Stree 2: ₹9.4 crore
Chennai Express: ₹6.75 crore
Padmavat: ₹5 crore
Bhoot Bungalow: ₹4 crore
Welcome to the Jungle: ₹3.8 crore (approx)
The film’s collection so far on opening day
Talking about the initial trends, ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ has made a strong hold at the box office on the first day. The film has earned ₹7.33 crore so far. With this figure, the film’s total gross collection in India has reached ₹18.09 crore and total net collection has reached ₹15.27 crore (including paid previews). These figures are till 9 o’clock. Keep in mind that these are not the final figures yet, the final and accurate numbers of the first day’s earnings will be updated at 10:00 am on Saturday.
‘Welcome 3’ is completely successful in making people laugh without logic.
According to media reports and review of ‘India TV’, ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is being considered one of the best comedy films of this year so far. It has been said in the review of the film that the audience will be forced to laugh while watching it and may have tears in their eyes while laughing. However, while watching a movie, it would be better to keep your mind and logic at home. It is an entertaining story laced with funny jokes, great rib-tickling scenes and light-hearted emotions, giving the audience a great experience. The ending of the film definitely feels a bit stretched, but overall it entertains the audience a lot.
