In an interview given on the YouTube channel of journalist Vicky Lalwani, Farah Khan Ali shared the bitter memories of those days. He told that when the news of separation of Hrithik and Sussanne came, everyone was surprised. Various kinds of things and speculations were being made all around. People were imposing their opinions regarding his personal life. But Farah made it clear on record that Sussanne had not taken even a single penny as alimony from Hrithik, leave alone Rs 400 crore. Farah said that even today, when she hears people on the internet saying that Sussanne became richer after this divorce, she feels extremely sad and disgusted in her heart because this is a complete lie.

According to Farah, her mother had taught her and her sisters since childhood that relationships in life are always above material comforts and money. This was the reason why Sussanne never allowed this separation to become a money deal. Farah told that due to this dignity and clean intentions, even today Sussanne Khan’s relationship with her ex-husband Hrithik Roshan and his parents i.e. Pinky and Rakesh Roshan is very good. The Roshan family still gives the same amount of love to Sussanne. Farah completely refuted the notion that Sussanne got any financial benefit from this divorce. He said that Sussanne belongs to a very respectable family and she knows very well how to maintain her dignity.
Why did Sussanne Khan remain silent on the rumours?
During the interview, Farah also shared a very interesting incident. He told that in the year 2014, when the divorce was finalized legally and the news of Rs 400 crores started floating in the media, he had interrupted Sussanne several times and asked why she does not come forward and refute these nonsense news? Sussanne’s answer to this was very simple and serious. Sussanne had said, ‘Farah, I don’t care what people think about me.’ Farah said that her family’s philosophy is that unless a person brings positive change in your life, you should not let his opinion or public opinion dominate you.
