The popular film of Marathi and Hindi cinema ‘Raja Shivaji’ has been trending on social media since its release, but the most talked about thing is actor Salman Khan’s shocking cameo as Jeeva Mahala. Salman’s presence in this historical film directed by Ritesh Deshmukh was kept a secret for a long time, but now the videos and pictures of his entry are spreading like wildfire on the internet. With a Maratha sword in his hand, a saffron turban on his forehead and a fierce attitude in his eyes, this look of Salman is no less than a big gift for his fans.
Brother’s cameo shines on social media
As soon as Salman Khan entered the theaters with Riteish Deshmukh, the hall echoed with applause and whistles. Fans shared clips of this scene on social media platforms X and Instagram and called it the biggest ‘highlight’ of the film. One fan wrote, ‘The entire film on one side and brother’s entry on one side, the Sultan of Bollywood is not called like this.’ Seeing this look, many people are remembering the days of his old film ‘Veer’. The audience believes that Salman has added a different energy to the film with his small role.
How did Salman Khan become a part of the film?
The interesting thing is that Salman Khan became a part of this film on his own will. Riteish Deshmukh told in an interview that when he met Salman at a New Year function, Salman casually asked about the shooting of the film. When Ritesh told him that preparations for the film were going on, Salman immediately asked, ‘What role am I playing in it?’ Ritesh had told at that time that no role has been decided for him yet, to which the superstar said in a funny but firm manner, ‘No, no, you cannot make this film without me, I have to be in it.’ Ritesh shared that due to Salman’s love and warmth towards the film, a glorious character like ‘Jeeva Mahala’ was created for him.
