Possibility of delay in foldable iPhone
According to the report, the main reason for the delay in the launch of the first foldable phone iPhone Ultra is production. During trial production, a problem was found in its hinge, after which the final production was delayed. Apple analyst Ming-Chi-Kuo has claimed that the cell cycle of the iPhone Ultra will be like that of the iPhone X, which the company launched in 2017. Its first shipment was delayed due to major changes in the phone, OLED display and reducing the bezels.
At the same time, a similar manufacturing challenge can be seen this year with the iPhone Ultra. According to information received from industry sources, Apple can ship 5 lakh to 10 lakh units of its first foldable iPhone in the third quarter of the year. This is only 8 to 10 percent of the estimated shipment of 70 to 80 lakh units.

However, Ming-Chi-Kuo has claimed that the phone will be introduced along with the iPhone 18 Pro series only. However, the phone will be sold in the fourth quarter of the year. Apple’s first foldable iPhone can be launched at a starting price of $ 2,300 i.e. approximately Rs 2,20,000.
Recently, news came out that the final production of iPhone Ultra is about to start. This phone is being fast tracked for global launch in September. However, it was later revealed that there was a problem with the stabilization of its hinge, due to which Apple may delay its production.
Talking about the features revealed recently of iPhone Ultra, it can be offered with iPhone A20 Pro Bionic chipset. An 8-inch wide foldable display can be found in the phone. At the same time, it will also have a 6-inch cover display. This phone will come with Samsung’s flexible display. Dual camera setup will be available in the back of the phone. At the same time, center stage camera can be provided for selfie.
