Ingredients for Instant Rabdi
Makhana 50 grams, ghee 1 teaspoon, full fat milk 1.5 liters, pinch of saffron, vanilla essence 1 teaspoon, almonds 2 teaspoons, cashew nuts 2 teaspoons, condensed milk 3/4 cup, apple 1 medium, grapes 8-10, pomegranate, sapota, banana 1.
How to make instant fruit rabri?
First step: Fry the makhana in ghee on medium flame until it becomes light and crisp. Remove to a plate, cool completely and grind the entire quantity into a fine powder using an electric chopper.
Second step: Bring the milk to a gentle boil in a heavy-bottomed pan, then reduce the flame and let it boil for 10-12 minutes.
Third step: Add makhana powder, make sure no lumps form, keep stirring it continuously. Then add saffron, vanilla essence and dry fruits. Cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
Fourth fifth: Add condensed milk, stir well and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes until the rabri reaches semi-thick consistency. After cooling the rabri will become more thick.
Fifth step: Switch off the flame and let the rabri cool completely. Once cooled, mix all the chopped fruits.
