72 kg woman lost 23 kg weight, big change happened by improving bad habits

To lose weight, people recommend dieting, going to the gym, exercising and fasting, but no one tells about changing habits. Whereas some of your bad habits can be the cause of obesity. Fitness trainer Shikha Surana, while sharing her weight loss journey on Instagram, said that by changing some habits, she has lost 23 kg. Shikha’s weight used to be 72 kg and now she is 49 kg. For this, he did not do anything new, he just left those habits which were silently working against his weight loss.

Fitness expert Shikha told about those eight habits by changing which she not only improved her lifestyle but also reduced her weight. There were no crash diets, detox teas or any shortcut methods involved. Rather, they adopted a method that can remain a part of their lifestyle for a long time.

Change habits for weight loss

not having breakfast- First of all, give up the habit of not having breakfast. Not having breakfast in the morning makes you feel very hungry later in the day. Shikha told that she used to starve herself first, due to which the metabolism would slow down and then she would eat everything at night. Now he has also stopped skipping dinner. Started eating within an hour of waking up in the morning.

Drinking calorie drinks- Second change was made in drinking habits in which juice, tea with sugar and cold coffee have been given up. These things increase extra calories in the body. Instead, started drinking water, black coffee and plain tea.

Eating healthy things in wrong quantity- Shikha also realized that even healthy things can become a problem when the quantity of food is not taken care of. Things like makhana, dry fruits and peanut butter were a part of his daily routine, but consuming these things in excess also increases calories. Therefore, improve this habit that if it is healthy then you can eat any amount.

Only cardio, no weight training at all- For a long time, cardio was the main part of his fitness routine. Shikha told that I used to spend hours on the treadmill. It was only when I started weight lifting that my body started to really change.

Less sleep, more stress- Lack of sleep was also a habit he tried to change. According to Shikha, staying up late at night often led to increased stress levels, increased cortisol levels and increased cravings for food. But now she definitely takes 7-8 hours of sleep.

stop eating out- Have given up the habit of eating in hotels or restaurants. Even if you eat healthy things or eat them in small quantities, these things contain some ingredients that unknowingly give you extra calories. Now Shikha eats home-cooked food most of the time.

Eating in limited quantity- Shikha said that she felt that eating too much for one day would do no good, but having fun once could spoil the whole day. Therefore, if you are eating outside or eating something unhealthy, then be careful about its quantity. Eating in limited quantities does not cause as much harm as eating a full meal a day. So eat everything but keep in mind the quantity.

Feel positive and inspirational- Weight loss is not a one day job. This requires continuous and long-term hard work. Therefore, instead of choosing a right day, be filled with positive energy every day and motivate yourself with discipline. Focus your attention and learn to be happy.
