Speaking on Club FM 94.3, director Arun Anirudhan, who directed Tovino and Basil’s recent film Athiradi, discussed the possibility of working with the filmmaker-actor duo on Shaktimaan. He said, ‘Paulson (Scaria) and I were writing the script for Basil’s next film.’ The filmmaker further said, ‘Unfortunately, the shooting could not start. Shaktimaan was going to be a big film. I don’t know if this movie will be made or not; The situation is quite complex.’When asked if the unannounced project he is working on is actually Shaktimaan, the director clarified, ‘No, it has nothing to do with Shaktimaan. Recently, during a conversation with Cineulagam, when Basil Joseph was asked about his upcoming film with Allu Arjun, he gave an evasive answer.
