These days, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is in the news for his upcoming film ‘Love and War’, in which Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal will be seen in lead roles. This film is one of the most awaited films of this year, it is eagerly awaited among the audience. Many glimpses of this period drama have also been revealed. Meanwhile, this film has come into discussion for a different reason. It is being told that an accident took place on the sets of the film, in which a technician lost his life. The name of the technician was Chandradhari Yadav, who died a painful death due to electric shock.
Accident on the set of Love and War
Federation of Western India Cine Employees has confirmed the accident while talking to India Today. According to the Film Studio Setting and Allied Mazdoor Union (FSSAMU), the shooting of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Love and War’ was going on at Royal Pump Studios in Goregaon East. 42 year old carpenter Chandradhari Yadav died in an accident on the sets of this film. The incident is said to have taken place on June 17 at around 3 am. According to initial reports, the accident could have been caused by a short circuit, but no other information related to the technician’s death has been revealed so far. Late Chandradhari is survived by his wife and two daughters.
FWICE demanded financial help
After the death of Chandradhari Yadav, worker unions have come forward to help his family. According to a report in ‘The Times of India’, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) and FSSAMU together approached the producers of Love and War and sought financial help for the victim’s family. It is reported that Bhansali Productions has offered Rs 40 lakh as compensation to Yadav’s family. However, till now no reaction has been given by Sanjay Leela Bhansali or his production house on this incident.
When will ‘Love and War’ be released?
Talking about ‘Love and War’, it can be released next year i.e. in 2027 on the occasion of Republic Day. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. Earlier, Ranbir and Alia had worked together in Ayan Mukherjee’s ‘Brahmastra’. That means Love and War is Alia and Ranbir’s second film together. Alia has worked with Vicky Kaushal in ‘Raazi’ and Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Sanju’.
