But we are making every possible effort to bring it back to our audiences. We are committed to bringing this film back to the audiences in a proper manner, following the right process. Harbhajan Singh’s opinion on ‘Sutlej’

Recently, former cricketer and MP Harbhajan Singh had shared his opinion regarding ‘Sutlej’ on social media. He wrote in his X post, ‘Jallianwala Bagh is one of the biggest massacres in history. It was carried out by the colonial rule. But, the question that arises in my mind after watching ‘Jaswant Singh Khalda’ is different. What is more painful than oppression by outsiders? It is more painful than this when those who are responsible for the safety of their own people become the cause of their biggest fear. The duty of a police officer is to protect innocents, not to misuse power. Khalra’s courage allegedly exposed evidence of illegal disappearances and clandestine cremations. It reminds us that the abuse of government power can leave scars that last for generations. Many mothers of Punjab are still waiting for answers. Many families are still waiting for justice. Truth cannot be suppressed forever. Honey Trehan and Diljit Dosanjh have done a great job in bringing the story of Jaswant Singh Khalda to the world. His courage should always be remembered.
