The finale of TV industry’s most popular singing reality show ‘Indian Idol’ season 16 has happened and this season has also got its winner. After a wonderful musical journey that lasted for weeks, the name of the winner was announced today i.e. on 26th July. Jyotirmayee Nayak became the winner of ‘Indian Idol 16’. Jyotirmayee won the grand trophy of Indian Idol 16 along with a cash prize of Rs 20 lakh. Along with her, Tanishk Shukla and Manraj were also in the top three, but Jyotarmayi was successful in winning.
Jyotirmayee Nayak wins Indian Idol 16
Jyotirmayi Nayak has won the trophy of ‘Indian Idol Season 16’. During her Indian Idol journey, she gave melodious performances on songs like ‘O Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Jaane Jahan Main Nachoongi’, ‘Jaane Kyun Log Mohabbat Kiya Karte Hain’ and others and won the hearts of the audience. Tanishk Shukla gave him a tough competition in the finals, who was the first runner up of this season and Manraj was the second runner up. During this, Shreya Ghoshal, Kumar Sanu and Badshah were present as judges. Shahnaz Gill had arrived as a special guest.
Missmi Bose’s journey ends after spotlight round
Missmi Bossu was eliminated from the finale race after the spotlight round. The top 5 finalists included Jyotirmayee Nayak, Tanishk Shukla, Manraj Veer Singh, Anshika Chonkar and Suhail Sufi. However, Anshika Chonkar and Suhail Sufi did not get enough votes and were eliminated from the competition. They received a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh each from Sony Television.
Jyotirmayee became emotional
After winning the Indian Idol 16 trophy, Jyotirmayee Nayak said, “Winning Indian Idol Season 16 feels like an absolute dream. From coming to the audition with just a dream to standing here as the winner, this journey has truly been life-changing. Every performance has challenged me to become a better singer, performer and person, and I will always cherish what I have learned along the way. I Soni I am extremely grateful to Entertainment Television and Freemantle for giving me this wonderful platform to showcase my talent and help me become the artist I am today, to my judges, Aditya Bhaiya, all the people who worked tirelessly to make this journey so special, and also to my family, friends and everyone who believed in me and voted for me. Stand together and make this dream come true. I hope that I will keep making music that touches hearts, gives me an opportunity to learn something new and makes everyone feel proud of me.
