What is the story of the film?
In Patriot, directed by Mahesh Narayanan, Mammootty plays the role of Daniel James aka ‘Vimathan’, a retired JAG officer who was earlier implicated in a conspiracy. Now he must team up with Colonel Rahim Naik, played by Mohanlal, to investigate an espionage-related disturbance, which soon turns into a vast and widespread conspiracy. With national security at stake, the two have to work together to expose the culprits, foil their operation and clear Vimthan’s name by acquitting him of the charges. Apart from these two superstars, the cast of Patriot also includes Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara and Revathi.
