Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reached his home town Ujjain on Friday evening, where he won the hearts of the people by touring the city in a different style. During this period, the Chief Minister reached various areas of his South Assembly riding on a Bullet motorcycle and interacted directly with the common citizens. Seeing his simple and friendly style, there was a lot of enthusiasm among the local people. Citizens at various places welcomed him warmly and met him to discuss issues related to the area.
Freeganj Bridge inspected
During the city tour, the Chief Minister’s convoy reached near Freeganj Bridge. Here he inspected the under construction Freeganj Bridge and inquired about the progress of the construction work. The Chief Minister discussed with the engineers present on the spot and gave instructions to improve the quality of the work and complete it within the stipulated time. He also interacted with the laborers working there, inquired about their well being and appreciated their work. During this, the Chief Minister also got photographs taken cordially with the workers, due to which an atmosphere of enthusiasm was visible among the workers. After this, the Chief Minister reached Koyla Phatak intersection on Agar Road by bullet bike. Here he parked the bike and set out for a walk. As part of the preparations for Simhastha Mahaparva, he took stock of the area by walking on foot from the newly developed Koyla Gate to Kanthal Marg after widening. During this, he met shopkeepers, local residents and passers-by and sought their opinion regarding the ongoing development works and civic facilities in the city.
Expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister
Local people told the Chief Minister that they have got a lot of relief from the development of roads, traffic and basic facilities in the city. Expressing satisfaction and happiness over the development works, the citizens also thanked the Chief Minister. During the walking tour, the Chief Minister stopped at a shop at Kanthal intersection, where he enjoyed tea. Along with this, he also prepared Jalebi himself, the sight of which became the center of attraction for the people present there. People captured this moment in their mobile cameras and also got photographs taken with the Chief Minister. This area holds special importance for Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, because his childhood was spent in this area. The Chief Minister also appeared emotional while meeting old acquaintances and local residents. The residents of the area warmly welcomed him and shared old memories with him. During the entire tour, the Chief Minister’s easy-going behaviour, direct communication with the people and inspection of development works remained the topic of discussion.
