Made under the banner of ‘Aamir Khan Productions’, ‘Partition 1947’ has been directed by National Award winning filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi. Its music has been composed by AR Rahman, while the songs have been written by Javed Akhtar. Produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit, the film is all set to release in theaters worldwide on 14 August 2026, coinciding with ‘Partition Day’.
