Speaking to Times Now, Abhijeet said that he was not informed about the song being recreated. He said, ‘Who am I to give permission to remake this song? All these songs make superstars. The two biggest songs from Salman Khan’s career are – Chunari Chunari and Ton Tana Ton. It happens that if someone’s voice suits him then he becomes a superstar. Abhijeet Bhattacharya praised Salman Khan
He further said, ‘There is as much difference between Salman Khan and Varun Dhawan as there is between Amitabh Bachchan and Asrani. Varun Dhawan cannot do justice to the songs I sing. He took a wise decision by not including my voice in the song. Salman Khan became a superstar with this song, Varun cannot become anything.
