Jio’s big bet in AI sector, will build data center in Jamnagar, many AI tools introduced


In the 49th AGM of Reliance, company chairman Mukesh Ambani has announced the new revolution of AI in India. To provide AI cheaply to crores of people of the country, the company is going to build the country’s Soversion AI backbone in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The company is going to use clean energy in this AI datacenter. It will be provided electricity through Reliance’s solar grid located in Kutch. The company has announced that this 120 MW solar grid will be commissioned by the end of the year.

75,000 H100 NVIDIA GB300 GPUs will be used in this AI data center. After the first 120 MW is commissioned, more than two lakh H100 GPUs are set to be installed in it. With this much capacity, it will take its place among the world’s leading AI data centers.

AI dominates every sector

Apart from the data center, the company is going to launch affordable AI services for the people. The company has announced multilingual AI service, which has been designed with support for 22 Indian languages. The company has announced JioBharatIQ, AI Vyapar, JioHealthIQ, JioLearnIQ and JioKrishiIQ, which will help crores of Indians.

  • Jio BharatIQ It has been launched as an AI companion for every citizen of the country.
  • Jio AI Trading Has been developed for small traders and businesses. This AI tool is designed to increase the productivity of small businesses and help customers.
  • Jio HealthIQ Has been developed for the healthcare sector. This agentic AI will help in health related services for every family.
  • Jio LearnIQ It has been developed for every student to learn in his own language. They will be able to get every information at one place.
  • Jio KrishIQ Has been specially designed for farmers. This agentic AI will provide every little information related to farming to the farmers.

During his keynote at the AGM, company chairman Mukesh Ambani said that we are preparing a world class team of AI researchers and engineers. The company is going to make a big investment in the AI ​​start-up ecosystem in India. For this, Reliance has partnered with many big universities and research institutes of the country.

These announcements of Jio in the 49th AGM will work to promote India’s AI infrastructure in the coming times. This can prove to be a milestone for the Central Government’s ambitious project India AI Mission.
