Google search will change completely, Sundar Pichai showed a glimpse

Google I/O 2026 Sundar Pichai has shown the new avatar of Google Search. Apart from Google Search, Pichai has announced many new products including Gemini Spark AI in the annual developers conference. Also, a glimpse of future changes in YouTube including Google Chrome, Gemini AI has also been shown. The company has also showcased its Android 17 in this event. This mobile operating system will be launched in the second half of the year. Currently it is in beta testing.

Google search will change completely

Google Search is one of the most used search engines in the world. Earlier this was available by default in every Android smartphone. Most Android users give preference to Google search only. Google added AI mode feature to it last year. Now the company is preparing to upgrade it completely. Now Google will not only show links to users in search, but users are going to get AI powered interactive experience.

Google has announced in its annual conference that such tools are being introduced which will collect the information given by the users. If users wish, they will be able to create personalized mini apps as per their needs. Overall, the entire Google search experience of users will be changed through new tools.

You will get a new search box

Google told through its developer conference that now users will get a new search box, which will be interactive i.e. users will be able to ask queries in it and AI agents will respond to them. For this, users will no longer need to choose different modes. It will do all this work automatically. In such a situation, now users will click less on the links on Google. AI agents will work to deliver information to them.

This idea of Google is not new. Even in the year 2003, the tech company had launched a service called Google Alerts, in which users received information about Google searches through e-mail. Now users will get the information asked in Google search through Gemini and Google Antigravity, which will be interactive. Users will be able to generate new queries based on the results shown by Google. It will be just like you are chatting with customer care for help.
