The Commonwealth Games started on July 23 in Glasgow, Scotland, after which, after three finishes in these games, till now only one medal has come to India’s account. This medal was won by Jhandu Kumar of Bihar in the form of bronze medal in Para Powerlifting. Now, the number of Indian medals is expected to increase in different sports events to be held on the fourth day, in which most eyes are going to be on Olympic medalist star female weightlifter athlete Mirabai Chanu, who was successful in winning gold medal in the Commonwealth Games of 2018 and 2022 and now she is expected to win the third gold medal. Whereas in boxing, in men’s 55 kg category, Indian boxer Jadumani Singh will face Pakistan’s Sumama Rehman.
Expectations from Rupa Rani and Pinky in lawn balls
Indian women’s pairs team Rupa Rani Tirkey and Pinky will face English pair Amanda Steenkamp and Diana Viljoen in lawn bowls on the fourth day of the Commonwealth Games. In which everyone is going to expect him to move forward towards winning the medal. Apart from this, in the men’s 4×200 meter freestyle team heats, if all four Indian swimmers are successful in performing well in the qualifying round, then they will secure their place for the medal event. Apart from Mirabai Chanu, Rishikant Singh will also present his claim for a medal in the weightlifting event in the men’s 60 kg final.
