16 year old Ira Jadhav emerged as the biggest star in the women’s category. He was bought by Akash Tigers for Rs 10 lakh, which is the biggest deal in the history of this league. Ira made headlines last year by scoring a triple century in Under-19 cricket. Many star players were already selected as icons for the league, including names like Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane and Yashasvi Jaiswal. The Mumbai T20 League will be held from June 1 to June 15 at the Wankhede Stadium.
