Material
- Ragi flour: 1/2 cup
- Wheat flour: 1/2 cup
- Curd: 2 to 3 spoons
- Finely chopped onion: 1 small
- Finely chopped green chillies: 1-2
- Finely chopped coriander: a little
- Grated Carrots and Capsicum
- Cumin Powder: 1/2 tsp
- Salt: as per taste
- Water: as required
- Oil or Ghee: For frying cheela

step 1
First of all, sift ragi flour and wheat flour in a big vessel. Add curd, salt, cumin powder to it.
Step 2
Now add finely chopped onion, green chilli, coriander and grated vegetables of your choice like carrot, capsicum to this mixture. By adding vegetables its fiber and nutritional value doubles.
Step 3
Now prepare a thick solution by adding water little by little. Be careful that there are no lumps in the solution. Keep this batter covered for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Heat a non-stick pan and grease it by applying half a spoon of oil or ghee. Now put a tablespoon of batter in the center of the pan and spread it in a circular motion.
Step 5
Let the cheela cook on medium flame until its edges start leaving the pan. Now apply some oil on top and turn the cheela. Fry it from the other side also until it becomes golden and crispy. Then take it out and enjoy with sauce, chutney.
