  • Cornflour: 3 to 4 teaspoons
  • Rice flour: 2 tsp (for extra crispiness)
  • Finely chopped onion: 1 medium size
  • Finely chopped tomato: 1 (seeds removed)
  • Green chilli: 1-2 (finely chopped)
  • Coriander: finely chopped
  • Chaat masala: 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice: 1 tbsp
  • Salt: as per taste
  • Oil: for frying

method of making

step 1

First of all, filter the boiled sweet corn in a strainer so that all the water is removed. Keep in mind, the corn should have slight moisture so that the dough can stick to it, but they should not be too wet. Now take corn in a big bowl. Add cornflour, rice flour, a little salt and half a teaspoon red chili powder into it. Toss it well with hands so that each grain gets a dry layer of flour.

Step 2
Heat oil in a pan. When the oil is well heated, reduce the flame to medium and drop the corn into the oil.

Step 3
Now put these fried crispy corns in another big vessel. Add chopped onion, tomato, green chilli, chaat masala, remaining red chilli powder, lemon juice and lots of green coriander. Mix everything well with the help of a spoon or by shaking the vessel. Then serve it and enjoy it with tea.
