Doing this is a habit that brings shame to humanity and you should remove the word Doctor from your name. Let us tell you that a four-year-old rape victim girl died in Ghaziabad. The girl was refused admission by private hospitals and hence she was declared dead.

Supreme Court’s sharp comment

The Supreme Court reprimanded the private hospitals which are accused of not providing initial treatment to the four-year-old girl who was raped and murdered in Ghaziabad. CJI Surya Kant’s scathing remarks on doctors of private hospitals have come to light, in which he said – If you do not perform your duty, then you have no right to write ‘doctor’ in your name. If you had even the slightest sensitivity, you would have taken the girl to another hospital even if there were no facilities.

The court asked questions, what order was given?

  • Did you ignore her because she was poor?
  • Couldn’t she pay your fees?’
  • The Supreme Court asked hospitals to donate voluntarily to help the victim’s family, otherwise they would be fined.

Know what was the whole matter?

On March 16, a man had lured a four-year-old girl with chocolate and then took her away and raped her. The accused had run away leaving the girl in a distraught state. The family members found the girl soaked in blood and the girl was unconscious. The family took him to two private hospitals for treatment, but he did not get treatment there. The family finally took him to the government hospital, where he was declared dead.

The Supreme Court had said in April that the biggest thing about this incident is that the hospitals did not show sensitivity, the local police also did not give importance to the family members and kept refusing to register the case. When there was an uproar over this matter, the police registered an FIR on March 17 and the accused was arrested on March 18. The biggest thing is that POCSO and Section 376 were not added to the FIR.
