Raghav Chadha met President Murmu, targeted Aam Aadmi Party

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party MP Raghav Chadha has made serious allegations against the Aam Aadmi Party and the Punjab government. After meeting President Draupadi Murmu, he said that AAP has now become more like ‘angry and vindictive former comrades’ than a political party. Raghav Chadha wrote in his post on social media platform X that he met the President along with three other MPs. During this, he told that AAP’s Punjab government is misusing the state machinery and targeting the MPs who have joined BJP.

‘Government machinery is being misused’

Raghav Chadha wrote in his X post, ‘This morning I along with 3 other MPs met the President of India. We told them that the AAP government in Punjab is misusing the government machinery and targeting us for exercising our constitutional rights because two-thirds of the MPs have joined the BJP. The party which accused the party of vendetta politics is now doing the same thing itself. The President assured us that constitutional rights and democratic decisions will be respected, which has given us courage.

‘Agencies have been hired to scare us’

In the press conference after meeting the President, Chadha alleged that the Punjab government was using various agencies to threaten 7 former AAP MPs. He said, ‘AAP has started dangerous politics of revenge through Vigilance Board and Pollution Board. I have received information that I could be their next target. Agencies have been hired to scare us on social media and all this is being done with the money of the Punjab government. He also accused AAP of being ‘trapped in the hands of corrupt and compromised people’.
