Today 22 lakh students are appearing in the re-examination of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Before the re-exam of NEET, the statement of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has come out. The Union Education Minister said that he appealed to the candidates to appear in the examination with confidence without any fear and worry. Pradhan said that he has full faith in the National Testing Agency (NTA), state governments, district administration, education world and students.

He said, ‘Today about 22 lakh students are going to take the NEET exam in a short time. They should appear in the examination fearlessly and without any worries. They will definitely do well. My best wishes to all the students.
Don’t play with the future of the new generation
He appealed to the people not to do anything that could affect the mental health of children. He said, ‘Please do not play with the future of the new generation of India. Do not do anything that affects the mental health of children. The children are going to take the exam in a few hours.
Appeal not to spread tension
Without naming anyone, Pradhan said that on Saturday, some ‘allegedly responsible people’ with ‘ill intentions’ behaved in a manner which affected the children, and appealed to them not to create any further trouble or tension.
Don’t cause any more trouble to the children
He said, ‘At least if you are responsible, if you consider yourself a true citizen of India, if you represent the people of India, then please take responsibility and do not cause more trouble to the children.’
CBI inquiry ordered after exam cancellation
NTA had canceled the NEET-UG 2026 exam held on May 3 amid allegations of paper leak, and the government has handed over the matter to the CBI for investigation. The re-examination is being conducted on Sunday.
