AIADMK divided into two groups

The other faction of AIADMK has announced its support to CM Joseph Vijay’s party Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK). SP Velumani and CV Shanmugam, leading the other faction, have said that their faction is planning to meet CM Vijay. Shanmugam said that his party will never support DMK. He said that we need to rebuild the party. Its future has to be discussed. We urge AIADMK chief and former Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami to call a council meeting. He also criticized the party’s thinking that it should forge an alliance with the DMK. An alliance between AIADMK and DMK would have been an unprecedented political event.

Let us tell you that Vijay’s party TVK has got the maximum 108 seats in Tamil Nadu. The majority figure in the House is 118. Some small parties including Congress have supported CM Vijay.
