Apart from this, commercial flights also started from Noida International Airport this month. Now the UP government is considering connecting its Ganga Expressway and Noida Airport. The UP government is planning to build a new greenfield link expressway to connect Ganga Expressway and Noida Airport.
It will take only 20 minutes to reach Noida Airport from Bulandshahr.
According to media reports, the state government is busy planning to build Jewar-Ganga Link Expressway at a cost of about Rs 4000 crore, work for which can start soon. The total length of this Greenfield Link Expressway will be approximately 74.3 km. It is being told that with the construction of this link expressway, it will take only 20 minutes to go from Bulandshahr in UP to Noida International Airport.
997 hectares of land will be acquired for Rs 1500 crore
997 hectares of land will be acquired for approximately Rs 1500 crore for the construction of Jewar-Ganga Link Expressway. According to the plan, initially this link expressway will have 6 lanes, which can later be expanded to 8 lanes depending on the need. This link expressway will pass through 5 tehsils of Bulandshahr and connect to Noida International Airport and Yamuna Expressway in Jewar.
Along with Bulandshahr, people of Hapur and Meerut will also get full benefit of the new link expressway.
With the help of this link expressway, not only Bulandshahr but also the people of Hapur and Meerut will benefit a lot and they will neither take much time to go to Noida Airport nor will have to face traffic jams. Let us tell you that the UP government is very serious about Noida Airport. The government wants to accelerate development in the entire western Uttar Pradesh through this airport. Therefore, ways are being considered to connect this airport with different parts of UP.
