Gold and silver prices rise, crude oil becomes cheaper – check today’s latest prices


Silver and Gold Price: The global market is witnessing a rise amid increased expectations regarding a possible peace agreement between America and Iran. In this context, a rise in the prices of gold and silver has also been seen today. On the other hand, a decline in the price of crude oil is being seen on Friday.

Rise in gold and silver prices

In the last trading session of the week, gold and silver are trading in the green with gains on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Around 09.54 am, gold for delivery on August 5 was trading at Rs 1,49,984 per 10 grams, up 0.71 percent (Rs 1,052). Whereas, silver prices for delivery on July 3 were trading at Rs 2,42,370 per kg with an increase of 1.13 percent (Rs 2,717). Whereas, crude oil fell by 1.50 percent (Rs 124) and was trading at Rs 8116 per barrel.

Gold price reached Rs 1,50,600 per 10 grams

On Friday, gold for delivery on August 5 opened with a strong rise at Rs 1,50,595 per 10 grams, which had closed at Rs 1,48,932 per 10 grams on Thursday. During today’s trading, the price of gold has ranged from an intraday high of Rs 1,50,600 per 10 grams to an intraday low of Rs 1,49,850 per 10 grams.

Great rise in silver prices too

Similarly, the prices of silver for delivery on July 3 also opened with a good rise today at Rs 2,42,776 per kg, which had closed at Rs 2,39,653 per kg on Thursday. During trading today, the price of silver had ranged from an intraday high of Rs 2,44,817 per kg to an intraday low of Rs 2,42,171 per kg.

Crude oil prices fell

Talking about crude oil, today the crude oil for delivery on July 20 opened with a fall at the price of Rs 8,157 per barrel. On Thursday, crude oil prices closed at Rs 8,240 per barrel. During trading today, crude oil prices ranged from an intraday high of Rs 8,180 per barrel to an intraday low of Rs 8,102 per barrel.
