Delhi Metro Phase 4: Now you will not have to face 2 hours of traffic! Will reach office in 30 minutes, know where new metro stations are being built

There is great news for millions of people living in Delhi-NCR. Phase-4 of Delhi Metro, which is called the lifeline of the capital, is rapidly taking shape. After the completion of this project, many such areas will be directly connected to the metro network, where currently people have to get stuck in traffic jams for hours every day. The biggest benefit will be given to students, employed people and passengers going to the airport. On many routes, the journey of 1.5 to 2 hours will reduce to just 30 to 40 minutes.

Three big corridors are being built in Phase-4

  • The Janakpuri West to RK Ashram Marg corridor will be approximately 29 kilometers long. It will directly connect areas like Peeragarhi, Mangolpuri, Madhuban Chowk, Prashant Vihar and Azadpur to Central Delhi.
  • Aerocity Golden Line from Tughlakabad will be about 23 kilometers long. Through this, travel between South Delhi and Indira Gandhi International Airport will become much easier.
  • Majlis Park to Maujpur extension will be approximately 7 kilometers long. With this, the ring network of the Pink Line will be completed and areas like Burari, Jharoda and Wazirabad will get better connectivity.

Will get relief from traffic jam

The biggest benefit of Phase-4 will come in the form of time saving. Currently, it takes one and a half to two hours to reach Central and South Delhi from Outer Delhi or North-East Delhi. After the launch of new metro lines, this distance can be covered in 30 to 40 minutes. Especially the passengers going to the airport will get relief. People coming from Tughlakabad and Faridabad will no longer need to take a long detour.

Students and employed people will benefit

Travel will become easier for thousands of students studying in institutions like Delhi University, JNU and Jamia. Students coming from Mangolpuri, Burari and other remote areas will get the facility to reach the college in less time. At the same time, employees working in corporate hubs of Noida, Gurugram and South Delhi will also get a lot of relief from traffic problems. Access to airports and business centers will be easier than ever.

Phase-4 will change the pace of the capital

Phase-4 of Delhi Metro is not just a transport project but is being considered as a step to give a new direction to the urban connectivity of the capital. After its completion, the journey of millions of passengers will be fast, safe and convenient.
