However, Brendon McCullum will remain the coach of the ODI and T20 teams. At the same time, 53-year-old Rahul Dravid, during his coaching tenure, had won the 2024 T20 World Cup title for India and taken the team to the final of the 2023 World Test Championship. Due to his very good understanding of cricket and excellent working style, Dravid is being considered the strongest contender for the post of England coach. However, the newspaper has also stated in its report that Dravid has no desire to do full time coaching.
Rahul Dravid is in no mood to become a full time coach
According to the report, Rahul Dravid has no intention of doing full time coaching at present. But if he becomes England’s Test coach, he will get a chance to spend more time with his family and will also be able to stay connected to Test cricket, which is his favorite game.
