Earlier in the 2017 IPL season, he was out on a duck while chasing the target in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders in which RCB team was reduced to a score of 49 in this match.

Kohli out on duck after 46 innings

In the IPL, before this match against Lucknow Super Giants, Virat Kohli was last out on a duck in the match against Rajasthan Royals in the 2023 season, after which now after 46 innings he has returned to the pavilion without opening the account. Prince Yadav has become only the second bowler in IPL history to bowl Kohli for a duck, before which Dhawal Kulkarni had last achieved this feat in the 2016 IPL season.
