If the players’ behavior is found to be violent during the investigation, they can be banned for at least three matches under FIFA’s disciplinary rules (Article 14). Along with this, fine can be imposed on the culprits and strict action can also be taken against the Argentine Football Association (AFA).

However, in the video that has surfaced on social media, it can be seen that Spain’s player Garcia fell on the ground as soon as the referee blew the whistle to end the match. When he got up, he got into a heated argument with Argentinian player Paredes. During this, Paredes grabbed Garcia by the neck and pushed him. Not only this, as soon as the match ended, Argentine defender Nahuel Molina also punched a substitute player from Spain in the stomach.
