According to the information, a few days ago the victim boy was throwing garbage on the road, when someone made a video of it and posted it on social media. This video quickly went viral on social media. After the video went viral, Goa Police called the victim to the police station and registered an FIR against him.
Committed suicide due to fear of action
According to the information, after the FIR was registered, the victim boy became very upset. After this, he committed suicide by shooting himself late last night. Goa Police is now investigating the matter whether the reason for suicide was just the viral video or there was a fear of legal action after registering an FIR against him. Goa Police is also investigating from where the victim got the gun. At present, after the death of the victim, the police is also preparing to take legal action against those who made the video.
The family demanded action
Police said that after the incident, the family took the youth to a hospital in Mapusa. However, doctors declared him dead. After her death, the family demanded action against the person who recorded the video and uploaded it on social media. The family argued that the video going viral and trolling had a deep impact on the young man, after which he took such a step.
While talking to journalists regarding this matter, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant called the incident unfortunate. CM Sawant confirmed that he has instructed the police to thoroughly investigate the matter. Apart from this, the authorities are investigating all aspects of the case, including the events after the video went viral, the legal action initiated against the student and the allegations made by his family.
