Jagatsinghpur: A very painful and shocking incident has come to light from Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha. On Sunday, in Tertang village of Balikuda police station area of the district, a family dispute took such a horrific form that a son was accused of killing his own father and stepmother. After this incident, sensation has spread in the entire area and people are surprised as to how a family dispute turned into such a big tragedy.

According to the information, there was a dispute going on within the family for a long time regarding land property. It is being told that there was constant tension among the family members regarding this dispute. On Sunday, the dispute suddenly turned violent and the situation worsened so much that the son attacked his father and stepmother.
Both were seriously injured in the attack. The incident was so horrific that the father and stepmother died on the spot. As soon as the news of this double murder was received, there was chaos in the village and a large number of local people gathered near the spot.
After receiving the information, Balikuda police station immediately reached the spot and took control of the entire area and started investigation. Police have recovered both the bodies and sent them for post-mortem. Besides, the son has also been arrested on charges of murder.
