Naresh Kumar, son of former Prime Minister, cheated online of ₹ 7.8 crore


Naresh Kumar Gujral, son of former Prime Minister Inder Kumar Gujral, has been cyber cheated. The swindler cheated his employee and got Rs 7.8 crore transferred into his account. Delhi Police has frozen Rs 4 crore of these. Delhi Police has started investigating the case of online fraud with the former Prime Minister’s son. The police had registered an e-FIR on Tuesday. According to the police, a fraud of Rs 7 crore 80 lakh has taken place. Of these, around Rs 4 crore has been frozen.

Former MP Naresh Kumar Gujral has been cheated. He is the son of former Prime Minister Inder Kumar Gujral. The thug put Naresh Gujral’s photo and messaged his employee on WhatsApp and communicated with him posing as Naresh Gujral. The swindler got the money transferred through RTGS to an account number by saying that he was in a meeting. At present, the police is investigating the matter. Till now no information has been received about the thug.

Money transferred between June 12 and 16

The thugs had messaged the most trusted person of Naresh Kumar Gujral’s finance team. After receiving the message on WhatsApp, the employee made four RTGS transactions. Transactions worth approximately Rs 8 crore took place between June 12 and 16. After this the cyber fraud was revealed. If seen in terms of money, this is the biggest cyber fraud in recent times in Delhi.

Daughter caught fraud

When Naresh Gujral’s employee told his daughter about the money transaction, she called Naresh and talked to him. Naresh said that he has not given any such order. After this the family realized cyber fraud. Naresh’s daughter Deeksha immediately called the cyber fraud helpline 1930 and lodged an e-FIR. The officials took immediate action and froze about 70 percent of the fraud amount. Because of this, the loss suffered by Naresh Gujral was reduced to a great extent. He also praised the officers.
