A road in India has been named after US President Donald Trump. A road in Hyderabad city will be known as ‘Donald Trump Avenue’. US Ambassador Sergio Gore and Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday unveiled a ceremonial plaque to commemorate the renaming of the road adjacent to the US Consulate as ‘Donald Trump Avenue’.

The Telangana government had decided to name a road in Hyderabad city after the 45th and 47th President of America Donald Trump. This important road located near the US Consulate General building in Hyderabad’s Financial District Nanakramguda has now been officially named ‘Donald Trump Avenue’.
CM Revanth Reddy had proposed to keep the name global
Earlier, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, while addressing the annual conference of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) in Delhi, had proposed to name important roads of Hyderabad after big global companies. Additionally, considering the global impact and contribution of Google Maps and the entire company, it has been decided to name an important road as ‘Google Street’.
Symbol of innovation-based India
This name will be given to the road near Google’s new campus to be built in the Financial District of Hyderabad; This campus will be Google’s largest campus outside the US. These proposals are part of the Telangana government’s initiative to establish the state as an icon of innovation-based India.

On Tuesday, Gore and Vikramarka jointly presided over a historic ceremony to commemorate the 250th anniversary of America’s independence. The reception was attended by senior diplomatic representatives, government officials and prominent leaders from the business, aerospace, defense and technology sectors. Highlighting the connections between America’s national economic and security priorities and Telangana’s leadership in the industry, Ambassador Gore emphasized the Hyderabad Consular District’s tremendous contribution and continued importance to the strategic cooperation.

Ambassador Gore said, ‘Nowhere is the rapidly growing pace of our partnership better reflected than in Hyderabad. From HITEC City to aerospace and defence, this region represents the progress that is setting the pace of our bilateral relations.’ He said, ‘With more than $ 20 billion of new investment on the way to America through our interim trade agreement and ‘Mission India’, we are proving that ‘America First’ does not mean ‘America Alone’. We are extremely grateful to the Telangana Government for its generous gesture in naming ‘Donald Trump Avenue’; “This gesture reflects the strong and respectful partnership that President Trump has fostered for the United States.”
Congratulations on America’s 250th Independence Day
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka congratulated the American people on the occasion of America’s 250th Independence Day and emphasized the important role of Telangana in US-India relations. Bhatti Vikramarka said, “As America celebrates ‘Freedom 250’, Hyderabad is proud to be one of the strongest links between India and America.”
