There has been a change of leadership in Karnataka and on June 3, DK Shivakumar will take oath as CM. Astrologer Dwarkanath Guruji has predicted a long political innings for Congress leader DK Shivakumar and suggested several possible dates for his swearing-in as Chief Minister. The prediction comes at a time when Shivakumar has been elected the leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP), paving the way for him to take over the reins of the state government. Guruji said that he has suggested three possible dates for Shivakumar’s swearing-in ceremony.
Guruji expressed confidence that Shivakumar will have a long tenure as Chief Minister and will continue to play an important role in Karnataka politics. “He is not a one-day chief minister. He will play a long innings. His horoscope is very good. He will be there for Karnataka for a long time,” he said. He also claimed that Shivakumar would have the support of the Congress high command and would remain at the center of the state’s political landscape.

Will there be four Deputy CMs?
There are speculations about the dominance of former CM Siddaramaiah in DK Shivakumar’s cabinet and it is being said that CM Shivakumar will have four deputy CMs. However, according to sources, DK Shivakumar is not in favor of making four Deputy CMs in his cabinet. He has told the high command that there are many senior leaders in Karnataka Congress, so in such a situation it is difficult to decide who should be made the Deputy CM and who should not.
On the matter of Priyank Kharge being made the Deputy CM, KC Venugopal said, whatever decision the party takes regarding the format of the cabinet, we will accept it. There is discussion only in the media about removing people above 60 years of age, there has been no such discussion with us. There will be a mix of young and experienced leaders in the new cabinet of Karnataka. With the changes that have taken place today, one thing is certain that Congress will form the government again in Karnataka in 2028.
