According to sources, the price of 5 kg cylinder has been increased by a huge amount of ₹ 261 per cylinder. This double blow of inflation has fallen directly on the pockets of those who earn and eat daily.

After this huge increase in prices, the price of 5 kg cylinder has now started touching the sky. According to the report, the price of the cylinder which was available for ₹ 549 till yesterday, has now increased to ₹ 810. The increase of ₹ 261 together is a big blow to small consumers. Earlier in the morning, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder was increased by ₹ 993, after which the commercial cylinder in Delhi will now be available for ₹ 3,071.50 instead of ₹ 2,078.50.

The burden will increase the most on students and laborers

Small 5 kg cylinders are mostly used by those people who do not have a permanent residence or who live alone. People who leave their villages and homes and work as laborers in other states are dependent on this cylinder. At the same time, there will be a big increase in the monthly expenses of students living in other cities for studies. Daily wage workers and small shopkeepers: Now lighting the stove will become expensive for street vendors and small dhaba owners.

The impact of Iran crisis is visible

Global conditions are being said to be responsible for this fire in gas prices. The LPG crisis has deepened at the international level after the attack by America and Israel on Iran on February 28. Its impact was already visible in India, due to which migration of migrant laborers from big cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Surat has also started. Now this latest increase in prices has made the situation even more pathetic.
