A very exciting news has come for the lovers of sedan cars. Leading car manufacturer Honda Cars India has finally officially launched the new facelift incarnation of its most popular sedan car Honda City in India. The starting ex-showroom price of the new Honda City Facelift has been fixed at ₹ 12 lakh.
In view of the increasing competition in the midsize sedan segment, Honda has made many major changes in the looks and features of the car this time. This new bet of the company is going to create big trouble for powerful cars like Hyundai Verna and Volkswagen Virtus already present in the market.
Big change in look
This is not a generation change model of Honda City, but a mid-life update. Despite this, the company has made its look completely fresh and premium. A completely new designed revised grill has been given in the front of the car. Along with this, the front bumper has also been slightly changed. The car gets a set of new alloy wheels and updated LED lighting elements, which give it a cleaner and sharper look on the road. While maintaining its cult design, this car now looks more sporty and modern than ever.
Luxury interior and abundance of cool features
The layout inside the cabin of the car may seem familiar, but its feature list has been significantly upgraded from before. The new Honda City facelift retains a larger touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, digital driver display, connected car tech and the customer-favourite electric sunroof. Apart from this, the company has paid maximum attention to the safety front. The new City has been provided with an advanced package of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) under Honda Sensing Suite, which will provide excellent safety to the passengers in this budget.
No change in powerful engine
The company has not made any changes on the mechanical front. The new Honda City Facelift has the same reliable 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine as before. This engine is available with both manual and CVT gearbox options.
