New Delhi: India’s subscription-free OTT platforms VETO has announced the addition of 28 new live channels on its platform. With this the number of live channels on the platform has increased to more than 55. With the addition of new channels, users will get a variety of content including news, movies, music, entertainment, children’s programs, infotainment and religious content in one place.
According to the company, this expansion has been done in 12 Indian languages. These include Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Bengali, Bhojpuri and Haryanvi. Along with the national and Hindi channels already available, the content in regional languages has also become stronger.
The company says that VETO is designed with the aim of providing a reliable and simple entertainment experience on the big screen for families. With the addition of new channels, the regional language and local content needs of viewers living outside the metros will be better met. The emphasis has been on making content available on the platform to every member of the family as per their choice and language.
Many major channels joined
The new channels include YRF Music, five channels of Epic Network and 19 regional channels. This makes VETO’s offering of news, film, music, infotainment, children’s and religious programming stronger than ever. Major regional news channels joining the platform include Kolkata TV, R Plus, Gujarat First, Sandesh News, Sakshi TV, Mahaa News, ABN Andhrajyothi and News Tamil.
Apart from this, channels like NRK TV (Kannada cinema), Punjabi Hits, Tabbar Hits (Punjabi music and movies) and Mahaa Maxx (Telugu entertainment) have also been added in the entertainment and music category. According to the company, this expansion has strengthened the presence of news channels in South and East India, while also increasing entertainment and music content in West and North India.
Many popular channels already exist
VETO is already available on India TV, NDTV India, NDTV Marathi, Manorama News, B4U Movies, B4U Music, Sanskar, Total Bhakti, Shubh, Satsang and many music channels from 9XM network. In addition to Live TV, VETO is also continuously expanding its Video on Demand (VOD) content. There are over 500 hours of content available for kids on the platform, including animation, mythological stories and original series.
For sports lovers, here is cricket expert R. Ashwin, Wasim Jaffer and S. Match analysis and reviews of Badrinath are also available. Apart from this, special interviews, podcasts, documentaries, artificial intelligence (AI) based storytelling, lifestyle programs, religious content, astrology, health related content and special coverage of motorsports will also be seen on the platform.
